That’s not what poll watchers do. Poll watchers are supposed to report improprieties. They want you to think it’s violence so when they sneakily contest random areas ballots it flies over your head.

That’s only enough “poll monitors” to monitor about 1% of polling places in the USA.
But they also have the data and know which areas to target directly, plus implying threat through the action will deter others who don’t know if their place is going to be one of the targeted ones or not.
I’m not scared of any poll monitor. I’ll tell them to monitor my pole while I slap it down on the ballot machine.
