I mean, using an LLM inherently asks you to not think and the kind of person to use them, intentionally or not, is obviously not the smartest cookie in the toolbox

If they even work at all! I tried to get a Crunchyroll subscription. It wouldn’t work on my ps4, Android, or laptop. Their solution? Shrug and say something was wrong with my account.

Even projects on other repo systems have shut down. Too many AI submissions for them. LLMs are integrated so deeply into certain IDEs that some developers I’ve seen literally did not know they were using them (no, they couldn’t tell me why they thought writing a prompt in the IDE wasn’t hitting an LLM).
It’s a systemic issue that GitHub exacerbates but it’s by no means limited to it.

In Star Wars, Luke Skywalker was raised by Anakin’s step brother, Owen Lars, who was a moisture farmer on Tatooine. That made him Luke’s step uncle. We’re all referencing Star Wars quotes.

But crying about not getting to go to Tashii station is okay?

Hope you enjoy a whiny nephew

I think you mean own nothing. Under capitalism you owe everything ;) just found the typo amusing

Guess I got excited about this browser for nothing.

I definitely seem to be in the minority with this issue
Sure, fine, some get this right, and what else are they getting wrong? Something more serious and harder to spot?
The point isn’t that some models are better than others. The point is that yet again it’s an example that LLMs are not thinking machines and you can’t trust anything from them and people are burning the world to run a glorified auto complete.

My problem with loops is I can only scroll four videos before it stops scrolling. No matter what. I’ve tested it a few times on different devices because I wanted to try moving friends off Tik Tok.
I can’t figure out why it just stops.

Outer Wilds or Outer Worlds because I’ve heard good things about both but know nothing about either.
I have played Chants of Zenaar some which also hits the feeling.

I’ve looked at Tunic before but it always looked more like Zelda to me. I dunno why but I’ve always bounced off Zelda.

I have, I picked up the Myst Reader which collects all three from a used book sale a while back. I remember them being a fun read. Nothing mind blowing but a fun jaunt through more Myst

Every once in a while I definitely needed the walkthrough too. I hear blue price hits the same feeling. My wife and I just need to find time to dive into it together

Ever play the game Myst? As a kid that’s exactly how it was. Days of banging my head and then a rush of finally figuring something out. Really miss that
It’s adapted from something my grandma used to say. You’re fully welcome to it
