I’ve used various wireless mice for a years, though still use wired for gaming so I don’t have to worry about battery (even this many new nice get 12+ hours wireless now). As with anything quality matters. Buy an unknown $5 mouse and yeah you likely will have issues, buy a Razer Deathadder v3 or Logitech whatever, something known and decent, and you’ll never have an issue.

Oh for sure. Thriftbooks and abebooks are my go-tos. It’s just $125 for a set of books is hard to justify when I’ve already got copies of other versions

Not OP but writing/stationary nerd. The normal kuru toga is about $9 (USD) up to $15 for limited edition ones like the Studio Ghibli collab pen or with a metal grip but plastic body. The metal is $30-50. There’s a super fancy one with extra features like auto extending lead and where you can set desired lead length. That’s like $80.

Unfortunately I’m at the other end of the pen. I’ve got a dip pen with different nibs for that, just thicken the ink as needed.

I want to know how the different pens feel in my hand. I want to see their shiny lines on my desk. I want the magnetic click clack of a Monteverde Axis right next to the sleek and unique Pilot MYU.

When I started college is when I really started getting in shape and getting my life on order. It’s no coincidence that that’s when I started making solid friends. Everything’s more fun when there’s people to do it with. We joined our university’s Table Tennis club and went religiously. Still play years later here and there because of it. It also made going to the gym and just yeeting weights easier. Everything is easier with friends.

It kind of depends on the grape variety. Some are good, some are just semi sweet leather

Part of the difference is Rowling still holds so much cultural weight (somehow). So many people still know and watch and purchase Harry Potter stuff. Seinfeld only really holds that weight amongst older conservatives. He’s only popular amongst the people perpetuating the hate. Rowling’s stuff is popular amongst those who should know better.

I do agree we should boycott more (I personally do boycott a fair bit), but comparing the current impact of Rowling to the current impact of Seinfeld is crazy.

I think they mean if the advertised product. So like if Kleenex buys the ad space they’ll let kleenex know they’re boycotting them and why, not Microsoft.

They’d likely license as a percentage of revenue, not a specific dollar amount, which would make it more available to every studio and they’d theoretically make more money from the added ad revenue.

Until they license this out to every triple a studio and they all do it. Now I’m off to play more Tiny Terraces

Hey, uh, any ereaders or tablets in that pile? I need something basic I can just read comics or books with but all the used stuff around me is priced as new and the new stuff is priced insane.

I did mention the ultra wealthy (like those in charge of Visa and MasterCard) have christofascist leanings and they caved super easy probably because of it, using them happily as a scapegoat.

Yes, I literally linked to some of their history. They’re all linked to right wing conspiracy groups. The founders and several of their members have posted long tirades against diversity programs, constantly retweet staunchly anti-trans people, have claimed sexually diverse (though they say perverse with no distinction about anything) nerds are the cause of all problems.

Even several of the games Collective Shout targeted specifically shows they don’t actually care about truth and just want to scream louder until they get their way. They campaigned against Detroit: Become Human saying it’s a vile sexist game because of a scene where you actually save a woman from being beaten by her husband, thus eliciting empathy in many players for victims of abuse (I personally remember it opening people’s eyes when they played it).

They claim videogames make people violent and sexist despite mountains of evidence otherwise.

They claim Tate as their success despite many other groups actively pushing against him and his media.

Numerous LGBTQ organizations have stated how Collective Shout negatively impacts them by targeting healthy representation of being LGBTQ by calling it sexual perversion. Even Vice if I’m not mistaken ran articles diving into their negative impacts.

If you want to support truly feminist work there are plenty of valid, successful, known anti-trafficking and anti-abuse charities doing good work.
