31·4 months agoGood luck getting people fired for OPPOSING ICE… LOL, as if this is the same as making fun of Charlie Kirk or something. Mind you losing your job for either should be unheard of but these two things are NOT the same.

I tried to buy another identical set of cutlery because we needed more and the two version while looking identical on the package and being from the same maker are dramatically different in reality and it makes me crazy.
I have a whole set that I HATE. I put them in backward so I don’t pick one up by accident.
16·2 years agoSure but a LOT of us don’t want the music service and have never used it once. People like me aren’t costing them a penny on music and if they offered a plan without music I’d jump in an instant.
Laser Printers for the win. The toner can feel expensive but so much better value than inkjet.

2·3 years agoI won’t think anyone was trying to say that any metric unit nation would convert to imperial (unless I missed something). It’s just unfortunate that it is so difficult to get imperial nations to convert to metric since it would make life easier for the very people who refuse to change (in the long term of course, short term would be chaos).
What’s the advantage to using 0 for freezing than 32 or 100 instead of 212? If anything there is a higher precision built into the whole numbers on the Fahrenheit scale for the sake of calibration. It would only be an advantage if you couldn’t wrap your head around a different number to represent those states.
Hey will you pass me that 3/16ths? No wait, make that a 3/8ths. No wait, let’s try one size up 7/16ths… [kill me]
