    Only 61%? My weekly grocery bill has gone from $100 to $150 on average. That’s with cutting back by no longer buying snacks or nice cuts of meat.

      My weekly grocery bill has gone from $100 to $150 on average.

      UK here. There are three adults in our household and together we’re paying about £150 per week (about $200). We’re not skimping at all. That includes a couple of steaks, fresh salmon, mussels, pork, sometimes lamb.

      I never thought the US cost of living would exceed that on this damp island.
