    I had a housemate apologize in advance for the poor behavior of his guests later that night. I don’t think I formally rejected it, but I certainly wasn’t impressed. So you know this is going to upset me enough to warrant an apology, but you’re won’t be addressing your behavior, or your friends, you’re just going to do it anyway, with a clean conscience because you’ve already apologized?

      I could see apologizing in advance if you get a bit loud and to say if they’re getting too loud but any other behaviour you can’t really apologize for in advanced
