  • To be fair, the github.cum/author/project/releases subsection of a isn’t exactly the first thing that you find, nor is there a very visible link that stands out.

I must’ve stumbled across it at some point as I know of its existence, but I don’t know how to get there so I usually just manually add it to the URL.

  • I think I have a 20$ bill in my stash’o’misc-foreign-jimjams-I’ve-accumulated-on-my-travels. But given the current state of the US, I guess a terminally online scandinavian dork owning the country isn’t so bad in comparison.

I promise I’ll be less corrupt than most administration’s. I’ll probably just collect dues in the form of semi-monthly street tacos at TJ Birria Y Mas down in Stafford, Houston TX.

And maybe a crate of Blue Moon. Other than that, keep calm and carry on, underlings.

Oh, and you can refer to me as King, as 50% of the populace seems to be into that these days. But I don’t think the same 50% would be very happy with the king’s decrees.

  • Are you able to ask your ISP customer service to set up port forwarding for you?

At minimal you want HTTP (Port 80) but you probably want HTTPS (443) as well. If you’re hosting DNS as well you will need port 53 too.

Have those ports routed to the “inside” IP of the machine you want to use, and the rest of it is basically just setting up the webserver (and possibly DNS) to serve your domain.

NB: While on the phone with your ISP, ask them what the DHCP lease time is. Ideally you want a static IP for your setup.
