Thousands of people signed an open letter denying genocide in Gaza.

The letter claims that there’s no genocide in Gaza because of an alleged lack of intent on the part of the Israeli government.

Anyone who thinks that the Israeli government ‘accidentally’ killed tens of thousands of Palestinians is deluding themselves.

Not to mention that there’s literally a shit ton of evidence of intent. This is the most documented genocide in history. And even with that, you have shitty people trying to deny it.

Edit: also some lovely people on that list like, Selina Robinson (previous NDP before being expelled)

      https://www.readthemaple.com/selina-robinson-should-be-kicked-out-of-the-ndp/

Comments she made during a recent virtual meeting with pro-Israel group B’nai Brith. During that meeting, Robinson referred to Palestine as “a crappy piece of land with nothing on it” before it was “offered” to the Zionist settlers who colonized it. She noted, in passing, that there were “several hundred thousand people,” but “other than that, it didn’t produce an economy, it couldn’t grow things, it didn’t have anything on it.”

claiming that 18 to 34 year-olds have “no idea” about history. As many pointed out, her racist lies essentially regurgitated the colonial concept of Terra Nullius, the legal fallacy invoked by European settlers to justify stealing land from Indigenous Peoples.

Its not even a matter of thinking. This is like “debating” flat earthers, or moon landing deniers. I get what youre saying though
