The irony is that in 2028, a state with the same population as Canada might hold a referendum about leaving America. This trade dispute just might push California over the edge, and I am not talking about earthquakes.

If America is so out of control and beyond the reach of the Rule of Law and the Constitution that it can elect Trump (recall that he is considered to be potentially a traitor to the Constitution by the Supreme Court), then it is definitely within the realm of possibility that California could separate.

I didn’t think language would be a barrier but perhaps we should start there.

“Liabilities” is a commonly used term to describe services or goods owed. It’s used in governments, in business, and in nonprofits, etc. If you ever are involved in planning or dealing with financials in any organization in the US you will hear it used in that manner. How those liabilities are paid for is a completely different process.

You seem to interpret my use of the word liabilities differently that what I’ve described above, that is your prerogative and I don’t intend to argue it any further but you are wrong.

My prior comments also expanded on cultural differences in ways other than money. But you have glossed over that on your reply. Once again please calm down and read my statements before replying.

As for the tax the rich part. That was implied by my comment. Rolling back taxes for the last 30 years would largely implement tax increases on capital gains and top earners. It’s probably too much to expect a foreigner to understand this. I know I don’t have the slightest idea on tax policy by your parties in Canada. However simply removing those tax breaks in the US would fix much of our fiscal situations and as I stated in my prior post there is a growing effort to do this on the left which is by in large not made up of extremely wealthy people.

You are making some very broad assumptions with your comments on nationalism and patriotism in the US. Entirely glossing over my comment that there is a growing movement on both sides to not get involved in foreign affairs. Mango Mussolini is getting a lot of pushback within his own party because of his foreign interventions when he promised to end all wars and keep the US out of foreign entanglements.

You entirely skipped over my comments about most Americans not knowing about tariffs and that the ones that know about it don’t like it. Once again, please calm down and read my comments first.

As for the wood floors, you entirely dismissed my comments on disagreeing with Trumps policies and focused on my example of wood floors. Yet again, please calm yourself, you do your country no good by insulting those who are trying to sympathize with your cause.

You are very excited about this subject and it is clouding your judgement. I hope you can calm down, rest and reflect and maybe question your views on America at a later date. Many foreigners re-evaluated their views when they visited the US for the World Cup this summer. One political party and its policies do not define an entire nation.
