    These are only the first marches we’re seeing. More and more are coming as more wars take hold and more and more people realize that our species is being threatened by our own ignorance.

    Climate change is affecting people right now which is why they march.

    The more the climate affects more people, the more marches we’ll see.

    This is just another sign of climate change and people everywhere should pay attention.

      We’ve been doing marches on this scale for some years. I’ve even participated in a few. Stopped a bit due to COVID

      Unfortunately governments have mostly realized that protests can be ignored if they can convince people they’re trying to do something (or, in the US, just roll tanks over people). Fortunately there will be a committee to investigate the need for a committee to investigate how to investigate creating a committee to investigate the impact of the committee to investigate the impact of decreasing fossil fuel subsidies by 1% some time after 20-fucking-under-water.

      Direct action gets the goods.

    Ah, sorry. That kind of protest is old, a bit “last season”. We’re really just focusing on Israel/Palestine protests now.
