I’ve never hung curtains anything less than perfectly level, but I always struggle with the height and width. Aesthetics for curtains are weirdly challenging
The ideal distance is 2.5x3 post-it notes.
Anything but metric!
I think the secret is to just hang the rod first, and then pick curtains that work with where it ended up. I’m not sure it’s actually possible to do it in that order though…
