A little known fact - Canada has an extensive research and development program into the use of pulsed (microwave) directed energy weapons against drones. The microwaves fry the coils in the drone motors, and cause a huge current back flow that fries the circuit boards. Drone motors are particularly sensitive because of their small size but huge EMF in the windings.
