It was awful. God fearing Americans had to stop owning slaves, find ways to pick cotton, work the land, clean their homes. To make it worse, blacks, Asians and others got RIGHTS! Hells bells, actual rights. Those rights didn’t take away the rights of other Americans, but still unfair and even now, white America has to compete with the former slaves to earn money to live. Shocking outrage!!! (Sarcasm, just to be clear)
