Misfit Christmas party.

One of my partners hosts an event each year for our friends who don’t have anywhere else to go for whatever reason. Started out as a small thing for a couple of her friends who were no longer welcomed at family events after coming out(hence the “misfit” as a tongue in cheek gag), and has ended up growing from there. It’s become a celebration of our found family.

I’m planning on asking my mil’s bf about Minecraft as he runs a Minecraft server for years and working on a custom economy plugin. I want to get it but $30 seems kind of steep.

surviving. My wife likes to try and do stuff up more than she can handle so for thanksgiving we had turkey and stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy and cranberry sauce. Sorta the minimum doing it up. Pumkin pie with whip cream but that is just bought. Anyway it takes weeks to eat, mostly by me as she does not like leftovers. So I asked we do a simpler ham and sweet potatoes for xmass as im still kinda turkeyed out. Actually sorta works out well. Its like we split the major possible things from the affairs between two holidays. One thing is that turkey is incredibly cheap before thanksgiving. like 69 cents a pound. and then after that you can get ham butts and shanks for about the same. We have a stand alone freezer and we gun for cleaning it out and defrotsting in october precisely because of this. Other than that we will chill although I want to move my but on paperwork and job searching. Well want is a strong word.
