Check the date on that article, the joke is more layered than you thought.

He had gone to an area open to most people, in plain view of a camera and had himself a wank. I guess he forgot to not be a creep.
I reported the incident and the guy was out and gone 30 minutes later. Don’t jack it at work on the couch people eat their lunch on.

Where are you that hasn’t seen massive inflation since COVID?

Clinton for thinking she was owed the presidency and the DNC for purporting to be the more left leaning party while actively ignoring the majority of their voters to move farther right. In the nomination process the only vote that a member of the DNC leadership gets should be their vote in their precinct, but instead they get supervotes that are weightier than the aggregate votes of entire regions.
Fuck these blue posers and their rigged game. We gotta make our own party farther left - pro union, pro taxing the rich at at least 75% on income over $500k, pro actual healthcare paid for by taxes, pro social welfare programs paid for by taxes, pro environmental reclamation and ACTUAL green tech… you know, all those things that make sense and lead to a stable, productive country.

The Democratic party has been asleep at the wheel when they’re not ignoring the will of their constituents since mid-Obama and allowed us to slide into this disaster.

A kettle can nearly directly put that energy into the water with its heating element, heating it. The microwave turns that energy into microwaves via a magnetron that then heats the water. The microwave also has a fan to cool its electronics, lest it overheats. That’s energy that isn’t going in the water, but is enough to damage things.
Now, why do you think a similarly powered microwave could beat an electric kettle?

One is using a machine, skill, talent and creativity to create art. The other is having a machine generate art for you.
Given the lack of an inverter in GPT’s transcript there’s no AC to invert.
Power factor isn’t a thing in DC and GPT appears to have assumed a DC powered fridge.

sploosh@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•European crash tester says carmakers must bring back physical controlsEnglish1·1 year agoFord? If so I feel your pain. The controls for the ventilation in their infotainment system are godawful. The time between input and output is so long that you have to look down to hit the “button” to bring up the ventilation menu, look back to the road while it takes 2 literal seconds for the menu to pop up, then look back down to the diagram of the vents to decide what you want blowing or not blowing, hit the right “buttons” and then wait for the thing to respond and do what you asked. Meanwhile you’ve gone 1/4 mile at highway speeds with your eyes barely on the road.
What was wrong with a dial with all the possible vent combinations? I want the defroster on and I want hot air on my feet? That’s at 7 o’clock. Just blast my face? 12 noon. It was simple, it worked. It did not require looking away from the road once you were familiar with it.

I seriously doubt that you will brick anything, especially if you take your time and read everything through before you get started. These instructions should get you where you want to be.

If yours is any revision beyond the initial release chances are you are out of luck. I set it up a long while ago so I can’t recall the steps, but googling “Nintendo switch overclock” will get you what you’re looking for.
The Switch is based on the Nvidia Shield, whose stock clocks are roughly double the Switch’s. This means you can OC it without exceeding the manufacturer’s specs, which is pretty neat. Bringing the memory clocks up really helps titles like ToTK.

When I run Yuzu, I use the keys that I pulled off of it. When I play games in Yuzu, they are games I have purchased and dumped using the Switch Nintendo sold me. The controller I use is a Nintendo Pro controller. I play on my computer because it is MUCH better at playing Switch games than my overclocked Switch is. Just fuck off with this Nintendo, stop making your games worse.

I am a formerly obese person who got out of that cycle before HAES hit. I had obese people tell me that HAES meant they are healthy if they could walk up a flight of stairs. Those are the people I am talking about, and they seemed to be people saying HAES the loudest. If there’s a public perception problem surrounding HAES that’s not on the public, that’s on the people who let their message get diluted.
For the record, I made no comment about morality, though I do consider overconsumption to be immoral.
That’s just one of the meanings of “campus.”
In Latin, “campus” just means an open, predominantly flat field.
