Both articles were published August 6th, think it’s fair to give OP’s article the benefit of the doubt.

As a Canadian, it would be nice to be able to target shoot with larger calibers rifles. Can’t even rent a .50 BMG at the shooting range anymore because of our current government.
All in the name of public safety, eh.

Exists however I found it to be a hassle to setup so I never used it for my instance, I’ve noticed certain instances have troubles federating when they have Cloudflare or Anubis sitting in front of Lemmy on their reverse proxy. I can’t get Lemmy.world to federate properly and I suspect it’s because of Cloudflare sitting at their root path.

I guess WW1 and WW2 don’t count? Everything after that really seemed insignificant.

For the Xbox 360 apparently.

Been on Lemmy for almost 2 years, that instance and the people who joined it always felt “off” to me, I’m glad I recently set up a Lemmy instance of my own because that de-federate button will likely come in handy shortly.

196 has a very clear stance on tankies and other authoritarians.
but we’re not willing to allow somebody we so fundamentally disagree with to moderate our community.
I don’t know about you, but /c/196@lemmy.blahaj.zone might have an authoritarian problem.

Roll back Bill C21, you may gain a chunk of the 2.5 millions folks who legally own firearms and aren’t conservative.

I am under a NDA, all I will say is that the amount of wasted money is absurd.

Forced labor? I mean they aren’t wrong, you either work or struggle to make ends meet, but the US is no different. Out of all the planets in the galaxy we get the one with taxes.

This bridge is a nightmare.

Guess you won’t be making issues there for a while eh

I learned writing code for free, by looking at other code and reading online manuals.
I also learned how to play the piano by listening to people playing it and getting online sheet music for free.
Do you have a bot army that scrapes websites and repositories? Do you not give credit when credit is due? Do you poorly plagiarize work and claim it to be your own?
While I appreciate the learning aspect, the abuse of these LLM’s is blatantly clear.
eh, got me there. Nearly identical to OP’s article just slight differences.
