I’m a broken record on this but the book “Dying of Whiteness” haunts me now.

I really wanted him to be found not guilty.

The idea of shooting health insurance CEOs dead is heroic. Luigi is the current godwalker of the archetype, to borrow from old rpg Unknown Armies. (Godwalker being the best living representation, subject to the collective beliefs of humanity). It doesn’t really matter if he did it or not. The idea is there.

My team assigns both hours and points to tasks. I’ve never seen the points used for anything but they still spend time on it.

Of course they are. I’m happy to never use twitch but I feel like most people don’t care or don’t have the self discipline to stop.

It’s because the decision makers are fucking stupid.

I would be happier at work if we could just solve interesting problems. Instead we have mandates from management to do nonsense, or work in nonsense ways.

The people at the top are so removed from how work gets done, and how normal people live, they’re useless. Worse than useless.

I will laugh really hard at any ice agent who shocks his dick while trying to piss. Even if he dies. Especially if he dies.

I mostly get music from Bandcamp. They have a pretty big library, but it’s mostly newer and independent bands on there. You won’t find, like, the beatles or taylor swift.

Sometimes I’ll buy stuff directly from bands, if it’s not on bandcamp, via their store or label or whatever. I used to get CDs, too, and rip them, but I haven’t done that in a while.

I will continue to not use Spotify. Buying drm free music is a long term win.

Unfortunately, most people wouldn’t even understand what that means. And many wouldn’t care. People don’t seem to care about things, even as those things chew them up.

Getting peers on board is probably the way to go.

One of the problems is all the people who were fucking wrong don’t suffer any lasting consequences. They will be listened to again.

Perhaps I should have written “simple” instead of “easy”.

But yes, the road to implementing solutions is blocked by rich people and class traitors.

Break them up. Fine them for anti competitive practices. Bar their leadership from working similar roles for life. The solutions are easy.

Happily using Linux at home. Played some elden ring today, and the original fallout last week. Did some writing in libre office. It’s fine. And free. I never have to tinker with it.

Neat. I’d love to work on that instead of at a horrible megacorp.

Maybe they’ll build something to easily report jobs with no salary listed.
