Some WD dc hc530 drives I got from server part deals. They usually come with a little sata to sata power cable to get around this issue but I’ve never had to use it before until this latest batch.

Its not really a big deal but I had to open up my server and makes it more annoying for cable management.

I even tried them in the slots where the same type of drives were in to see if it was just a slot issue or something

I don’t think there rain is stopping anything but it creates a want-to-snuggle-and-stay-home feeling that one cannot resist

I ordered two refurbished drives the same as my others but these two need their little cable adapter for the power disable, but none of the previous ones needed it even though they’re all the same

Should probably ask for more helicopters
