Anyway I did. I deleted my account and haven’t gone back for anything since then. It’s rough too cause now there’s no connection to the local groups here.

I joined a local instance hoping there would be local people posting but I guess that’s not how lemmy works.

my feed should be all art videos then but its not. They throw in shit that I never look at.

Instagram reels never does this to me btw. I never really stray from watching speed paints/drawing tutorials/artist reels so that’s what I see.

Why is that? That’s the one thing that’s always kinda freaked me out about cooking with a cast iron pan which is why I shied away from it for so long.

My instinct is to just scrub a pan until its clean. Not leave it to be seasoned. Unless what I saw in real life was wrong? my ex cooked with a cast iron pan.
