I wouldn’t lie about dates. If they end up speaking to that company, it wouldn’t be surprising for them to be mentioned. The second they find you lying about information, they’ll pass on you as a candidate

I assume more people signed than the target count

DDG is abysmal for technical subjects such as programming. When searching for anything mildly specific in that arena, I nearly always need to re-search on a different engine to find anything useful

Don’t have the time to get into a grammar debate. Just letting you know why you’re being downvoted since no one else told you why your statement is incorrect

‘All precautions’ is plural, so you have to use ‘are’. Using ‘is’ is in no way correct there; the ‘deterrents’ bit has nothing to do with it

Interesting idea, but it sounds computationally expensive which could pose problems. Smaller, hardware-restricted servers would be less viable
Worth noting that certain clients such as the PS4 and PS5 apps have terrible format support and will result in transcoding if you’re storing, say, MKVs. Something to look out for, but everyone else in this thread is on the money: don’t worry too much about performance at this stage. That’s a bridge you cross if and when you reach it

Being a bit pedantic, but if it leads to the desired UX I wouldn’t call it over-engineering
We run one for our product and it’s been teetering on the edge of extinction for a while. Google keeps saying they’re going to kill them and going back on the decision
