In some places, they burn the trash and make electricity out of it. I don’t know what ends up being better, burning it or letting it seep everywhere?

They were on a mission related to sanctions in North Korea which is right next to china.
Some places let you pump THEN pay inside. You could just fill and leave. Is that not basically the same thing? Thay can catch them the same way.
Nope it doesn’t. But if it did it would have been neat!
I’ve heard hypothecies that antimatter was normal matter going back in time. But this disproves it since it would have been going in reverse in gravity.
All according to plan. The CAQ would love to privatize healthcare. What better way to convince the population than letting the public system crash and burn.
Your ISP cannot read https data in transit. Extensions can because the page is now rendered on your local browser.
There is such a big divide between homeowners and renters. The average mortgage is 12.5years in, meaning payments are based on home prices from 2010, when canadian homes were 300k on average. That means that homeowners probably pay on average, 1200 a month while renters are paying double that amount. Younger generations are fucked.
Crazy that an admin had full access to all files on all drives including backups without requiring any kind of elevation, where a ransomware could encrypt it all.
At this point 8 don’t even know if paying would be the way to go to at lease rexover the files and rethink their security from the ground-up.
Canada should run it’s own official mastodon or lemmy instance to post canadian news/communications and whatnot. I never undestood how we still depend on American corporations like Twitter and facebook to share news. Like, even for my local govt, if I want to know if there is any road works, water issues and so on, it ends up on facebook only! This is dumb.
How would a company make money by dumping trees in holes?
It should be a government effort to do something like this. At least planting trees, no need to cut them for decades anyway. We would need an insane amount of tress for that to work too, basically as many as we burned as oil since the industrial era…
It was pretty intense, with actual tornadoes breaking off tree limbs on power lines.
What I hate is that on top of prices going up, stuff is getting smaller and cheaper quality.
I bought an Ikea shelve recently and compared it to the same model I bought 5 years ago, the wood is visibly thinner and the screws and stuff are now cheap plastic instead of metal.
Food is getting smaller portions, appliances break at nothing and must me changed more often… it is unsustainable.
It’s open source so the base code of it is already there and it lets them attract users by already having content available. They probably saw an opportunity with Twitter going to shit, and had to push a viable product as fast as possible.
The solution to these challenges will probably be to de-federate from everything once they have successfully challenged twitter.
It just tells me to install the app even with no adblocker.
Throwing stuff at the sun is super hard to do, as well as the fact that this would be wasting precious resources that is now gone from earth. I feel like one day, there will be businesses mining old garbage patch for long lost metals and stuff.
