i had the same reaction haha.
she/they
i had the same reaction haha.
i’ve been playing on 4thewords for awhile now, and while i’m not super active in the forums, they are very, very active. it’s not free, but the subscription isn’t horribly expensive, and the artwork is to die for. you may even be able to see the forums without a subscription? i’m not entirely sure.
good. i found a ton of these nasty little things in my backyard when i moved into my current house. the house was (no surprise) previously occupied by a bunch of undergrads.
that is what they’re doing.
“These are the vapes that have pink unicorns on them, bubblegum flavouring, disguised in order for them to hide them in their pencil cases,” Butler told a news conference.
To ensure the bans don’t limit access for smokers looking to quit, doctors and nurses will be given expanded powers in January to prescribe therapeutic vapes where clinically appropriate.
But therapeutic vapes will be restricted from using flavours, have limited nicotine levels and be sold in pharmaceutical packaging under new rules to be introduced next year, with a transition period for manufacturers to comply.
from what i understand, vaping is much easier to get into due to the taste/smell. so neither is good for anyone, but cigarettes are seen as gross and the companies that make vaping products have tricked teens into thinking that they’re safe.
“what gets you out of bed in the morning?”
something tells me they never want the real answer (my bowels). 💩
my current vacuum is going on 11 years. pretty proud of that $200 purchase. i’ve had 2-3 dogs at any given time, and this thing is a champ.
Same sex couples were not included in the research. Because the patterns there may differ significantly, the authors are now exploring those separately.
dang. that’s the data i was most curious about, because they’ve already got something in common.
i guess it’ll be my birthday present to myself.
serious: i love truck stop egg salad sandwiches. don’t tempt me!
both clever and not scraping and saving usernames to some mass database (as far as i can tell).
all my crochet projects are on hold until it cools off a bit. the sensation of sweaty hands and yarn is a no-go for me.
the company i work for switched to half day fridays, which i typically use to tie up loose ends. it works really well! and i still get a little bit of work done without feeling like i’m barely scraping by.
the birds and squirrels ate all my tomatoes, haha. at least my rosemary and lavender are doing well. i’ll likely transplant them to the front yard (currently in containers) before fall.
nobody should work on friday afternoon. (i say while working on a friday afternoon.)
i’ve had the chance to see their work, and they’re bringing good into the world. i care less about where the money is going and more about the net positive for the folks who otherwise wouldn’t have it without the “greedy backers.”
very happy i landed a job doing web work for mostly non profit clients. a few lawyers here and there, but we need them, too.
yes! flexbox is great for this.
wholeheartedly agree! css has been my main job for going on 15 years because i’ve always enjoyed its quirks. the past 5 years or so have felt like leaps and bounds in terms of how i structure markup and styling. it’s such a fun language to learn. stuff like flex and grid make my work so much easier so i can spend more time on the fun stuff.
i’m not religious, but boy howdy do i love a good secular ritual! i’ve been celebrating the equinoxes, solstices, and cross-quarters with bonfires recently. it’s a nice way to observe the passage of time. i also draw a tarot card once a day to reflect on, and an oracle card once a week.
a friend of my hosts full moon parties, which i also love.
