Longer I work in infrastructure the more I don’t much care for or respect civil “engineers”. I don’t see the use for this thing either. The thing I get most out of LLMs is them attacking my ideas. If I come up with something I want to see the problems beforehand. If I wanted something to just repeat back my views I could just type up a document on my views and read it. What’s the point of this thing? It’s a parrot but less effective.

Why? You are going to get what you seek. If I purchase a book endorsed by a Nazi I should expect the book to repeat those views. It isn’t like I am going to be convinced of X because someone got a LLM to say X anymore than I would be convinced of X because some book somewhere argued X.

Just because you own something does not mean there are no rules. I can own property that doesn’t mean I get to light it in fire, or dump chemicals on it that cause an environmental nightmare, or kill a protected animal, or fish a river flowing through it without a license, or run a meth lab on it…

Good. If you don’t own your body and reputation you own nothing. There is a reason why we have laws in place to protect people from false accusations. And since it is pretty believable that any given person does have sex we need to block out the exemption for reasonable person.

I had it write an operation manual for a client I particularly hate. Told it to make it sound condescending by dumbing it down just to the point where I could deny it.
