I use cards, I don’t even have NFC on my phone, but it is nice to be able to check my bank account, lock/unlock the card, deposit checks, etc.
I may be able to do most of that on the website, idk. Guess I’m probably going to find out :)

To put this in perspective, Jeff Bezos just one of the islands residents makes $10 million dollars every hour and 20 minutes. That’s day and night, round the clock, whether he is ‘working’ or not. He makes more in 14 minutes than most people do in their entire lives.
This would be like an average person paying $1 to fix their towns sewage problem. It costs approx $420 on average to have your septic tank pumped, which ‘normal’ people with septic tanks have to pay every 3 to 5 years. They can’t pay off a politician to have their neighbors pay for it, and they probably wouldn’t if they could. Bozos could have just paid the $10 mil, and donated another 10 mil to upgrade they system and it would have been the equivalent of pocket change for him.
People act like leftists are just jealous of Billionaires, it has nothing to do with jealousy. The literally insane levels of greed and entitlement it takes to think this way is off the charts. They would rather pay off a politician and change the law than to just pay their bills like a normal person. This is toxic thinking of the highest degree.
I miss LineageOS so much, my last couple of phones haven’t had a build of it and my asshole banking apps wont work on it now.
For my next phone i’m just not going to buy one unless it’s already supported and if I have to skip online banking I’ll do it.
What’s going on with Europe lately? You all really want GOOGLE of all mega corps in control of your identity?
You’re going the opposite way, it should be your right to install an alternate OS on your phone. If anything they should be banning Google licensed Android.
It’s ok when he does it. There is no such thing as a Republican who is able to be shamed by hypocrisy. It’s their super power.
We know you guys were looking forward to uncovering the truth about Epstein. We obviously can’t do that, but here is a cherry picked list of 100 of the president’s enemies.
These are the people you need to worry about, and hey most of them are “liberals” so you can rub it in their face. It’s a win-win!
A) Capitulate means to stop resisting. Protests are resistance, even if you personally think it’s too little.
B) If violence were to break out, where do you think it’s more likely to happen, out in the streets at a protest, or in the basements of people not willing to even leave the house to show their discontent?
C) How many punches have you thrown so far?
D) Random little acts of violence are likely to be suppressed by the pigs and the military. To be effective we need a plan. What better place are you likely to meet others willing to get off their asses and not just armchair quarterback the revolution than at a protest?
Oh no, not moderated! Sounds like you are ready and willing to actually do something, as long as it doesn’t come with the mildest of inconveniences.
It was peoples capitulation and unwillingness to take a stand against the Nazi’s that allowed them to win.
If there had been mass protests things might have turned out very differently.
Put a lock on the wheel and charge people $0.99 to temporarily unlock it.
Consumer: It say’s here I can subscribe to ‘Wheel Pro’ for only $69.99/month and I will automatically receive all the latest features the second they come out!
Noob: I just use WIMP, it’s free and does 99% of what Wheel Pro does. I don’t need all those extra features.
Consumer: Psh, WIMP is ugly and you can’t even adjust the tire pressure by millipascals.
Noob: They added that feature in March.
Consumer: I NEED IT FOR WORK OK!
It probably could, and don’t call me Shirley.
What is this wheel in particular designed to do? Is there any way we could make it work more efficiently at its task? Do we value performance over reliability, or vice versa?
It works fine. It’s a perfectly good wheel.
Hey where is Underwaterbob?
He’s trapped in that Jigsaw room.
The door is unlocked though?
Yeah, but there is a wheel in there and UWB won’t leave until he figures out if there is a way to improve it.
Has any one asked him to?
No
Will he get paid to improve it?
No
What does the wheel do?
You roll it out of the way so you can exit the room.
It’s simply astounding the slop Americans will accept as “Journalism” nowadays.
Though Musk slammed Trump’s handling of the Epstein files, his attacks themselves were riddled with false assumptions, including conspiracy theories about the existence of an Epstein “client list,” which is unsupported by evidence.
So ABC “News” just straight up parrots the Trump administrations talking points as if they are objective facts. “Left Leaning” bias my asshole :(
And what is the “evidence” they use to back up this supposed fact, some lawyer hasn’t seen it. As we all know, absence of evidence is evidence of absence. Good Job ABC, case closed.
Not to mention this lawyers story is full of holes.
First of all he claims to be representing Epstein’s victims, but goes on to say that
“he is bound by attorney-client privilege and cannot ethically reveal the names of any of Epstein’s alleged associates without permission from his clients.”
Exsqueeze me? Admittedly I am not a lawyer, but what exactly would be the point of ‘representing’ the victims if they refuse to release the names of the people who assaulted them? Isn’t the point to bring these people to justice? How would it benefit the victims in any way to not release the names? The only way that would make sense is if Edwards was only there to distribute hush money payments. Can anyone explain this to me?
Then he goes on to say
“It’s difficult to even discern, when he would send a woman to one of his friends, whether that was even a motivation. What he was not is a person on the top of a sex trafficking operation that was sending women to powerful people around the world so that he could make money. It was not a business,”
but later in the exact same article the writer says
“And it raises questions whether those records, if made public, could finally lead to a better understanding of how a college dropout from Coney Island managed to accumulate astounding wealth and proximity to power – a transformation that has long defied ready explanation.”
Gee, its so weird how a guy who was a habitual child molester, who was friends with some very rich and powerful scumbags, who’s partner was convicted of sex trafficking, and who was mysteriously able to accumulate “astounding wealth” is also clearly and unambiguously innocent of running a sex trafficking operation, because ‘some guy said so’. If anyone read that sentence and thinks it sounds plausible please PM me, I just got some really nice bridges in famous cities and I’m willing to let them go for cheap.
Oh and here comes my favorite part:
Edwards describes the enigmatic Epstein as living, essentially, two separate lives: one in which he was sexually abusing women and girls “on a daily basis,” and another in which he associated with politicians, royalty, and titans of business, academia, and science.
“For the most part, those two worlds did not overlap. And where they overlapped, in the instances they overlapped, it seems to be a very small percentage,” Edwards said.
Ok? Edwards let’s say that it was a ‘very small percentage’, WHO FUCKING CARES?! I don’t care if it was one person, that person should be named and prosecuted. For Fuck Sake saying he only did ‘a little bit’ of pimping out underage children for the wealthy to molest as if that excuses it or diminishes it in any way makes me want to puke.
“There were occasions where a select few of these men engaged in sexual acts with a select few of the girls that Jeffrey Epstein was exploiting or abusing – primarily girls who were over the age of 18.”
Again, WHO THE FUCK CARES?! Why does this even need to be said? Even if we take what this clown is saying as absolute fact, that still means young women were being exploited and abused, and some % of them were underage. WHO WERE THE ‘SELECT FEW’ MEN? That is what we want to know, not hear excuses like “Well it was only a few men, and only some of the girls were underage”. Get all the way the fuck out of here with that bullshit.
“That conduct was coercive, it was exploitative, and it was bad. But it’s a small fraction of the men he was associated with,” Edwards said. "And he was abusing hundreds of women, if not a thousand. And it’s a very small fraction of those women that he was sending to men.
I’m not going to say it again. 🤮
he said he has seen no indication that Epstein kept a list of those men, or that he made it a practice to use those instances to blackmail or extort the men
The cameras in the bedrooms and the bathrooms were just there for the molesters safety and nothing else I’m sure.
“So the best thing would be: Protect the victims’ names, release everything else, so that the world can see what is real, versus what is total fiction, and then everybody can move on.”
Except that you and ABC have just spent an entire article regurgitating the Trump administrations excuses for not releasing them, so why in the fuck would they bother? But hey, now you can guys can pretend that you are for releasing the information even though you just gave them every excuse not to. Convenient.
There’s more I could say but I’m getting sick just thinking about this crap. The whole damn thing is disgusting.
Democrat answer: Filibusters are ‘not a good look’. We want to be seen as the party of reasonable adults who honestly want to work across party lines to help our constituents. We won’t vote to end the practice as it has a long history and tradition blah blah blah
Honest answer: We don’t give a single fuck about our constituents, the only people we are beholden to are the lobbyists who line our pocketbooks. It’s easier to control the narrative when all of the media corporations are owned by billionaires.
Huh, TIL
I’m really glad that’s what it turned out to be.
God damn I love it :) I’ve been messing with Linux for 20 years now and there are some patterns that never seem to change.
In almost every thread about Linux there will usually be:
1 person bragging about 'Using Arch" btw (before that it was LFS or Slackware)
1 or 2 people saying this will be “The Year of the Linux Desktop”
2 or 3 people joking about it being “The Year of the Linux Desktop”
10 - 15 people explaining why it wont be or shouldn’t ever be “The Year of the Linux Desktop”
3 or 4 people complaining about how rude the Linux community is.
10-20 people saying that isn’t their experience and/or they always try to help people when they can.
1 or 2 people actually being rude (who are usually downvoted).
2 or 3 people saying how Windows/Mac OS is better in certain ways.
4 or 5 people complaining about one specific thing that doesn’t quite work for them in Linux, or one specific Windows/Mac only program they must use for work.
8- 10 people giving them suggestions about how to solve their issue or work around it.
Personally I love the Linux community. The people are mostly great, friendly, able to think outside the box, and willing to help others. I try to emulate that whenever possible. Sure you are going to get rude people in every scene, I just ignore them.
What’s up with your username homie?
I “only” have a 1TB SDD. If I wanted to download a new game I would have to delete one that’s already on here.
It’s weird that this was something that Microsoft would have to admit, considering “The CLOUD Act” has made this mandatory for all US based companies anywhere they operate in the world. This has been a law since 2018.
