I really hope they’ll stop it. They’ve strangled Cuba for long enough and it’s only hurting the people there, not the regime.
Also Cuba has done nothing bad to the US in the last decades. The missile crisis was 61 years ago FFS.

Yeah same here. Never diagnosed but I sure have a lot of traits of it.
And yes that is exactly what cats do with newcomers. Even between themselves. They only stare once they trust each other (and even then they will often squint as a sign of friendliness).
I think it’s because cats are predators as well as prey. They know big open eyes side by side are used to gauge distance for an attack (unlike the eyes on each side of the head like most prey animals have). So eyes are a weapon to them. This is why closing eyes is disarming.
I’m not surprised. They hired the developer of all the major chat protocol bridges.
I use the big self hosted ansible playbook more for privacy reasons (self hosting everything) but I know it’s good! I like their client also but it’s not open source I think.
Why is mastodon too much trouble though?
I really don’t see the difference. In fact the one difference I do see is that it’s a whole lot less toxic than Twitter.
I don’t really feel the same about all these. But some are pretty familiar.
I really get along with cats because they consider looking away a gesture of friendliness.
The founder of that pebble is now heading a matrix-derived decentralized chat service called beeper so it’s not too far from the truth :)
Bikes aren’t for everyone. I personally don’t like them (and I’m Dutch, lol). I’d much rather see great public transport.
The Netherlands is very bad at public transport though. Some villages only have 1 bus per hour and only during rush hour, nothing during the rest of the day. This way we’ll never get away from cars.
They’ve certainly “taken back control” from those pesky EU privacy regulations.
