I have had a much better time w Skyrim mods than FO4 on the PS4 as far as stability goes.

I only have it on PS4, and yes there are lots of mods in the workshop. There are obviously limitations.

Every few months I try installing various mods to make what I want out of it, darker nights, flashlight mod, weapon and armour changes for a more hard core experience, etc, and end up with 15 or so mods installed.

Start a new hardcore mode, get just about past diamond city, and the game invariably starts crashing.

No idea which one or ones are causing the issue, and in the end I get annoyed and go play something else.

This is all fine and good till it’s a conflict between two specific mods. Damn you FO4 on PS4, why you gotta be like that?

Ubisoft made splinter cell, farcry 2, ghost recon, and rocksmith. They did a lot of good things over the years. Problem is, they’ve changed.

That unfortunately is going to be app dependent as far as I know. Your phone can set if a given app will alert you, but for example facebook would have to filter which friend’s notifications get sent.

An app that let you manage notifications by user across multiple platforms would be amazing.

In a documentary made during the 2016 election cycle Trump talks about how much better his PR team is because he doesn’t have to use traditional channels to reach his base, he can just tweet it when ever he wants to tell the world something.

A couple days ago, but I have a company issued remote managed windows laptop, and I get zero say in the matter.

At least once a month my system forces me to do a reboot for updates.

I mean, I would have. If at the beginning of the API mess they had said “Hey, baconreader is now going to be 10$ a month”, I wouldn’t have blinked.

Buy a commercial grade non-smart display and it won’t have any of that shit.

It’s just a big monitor w inputs and no apps. Never connect it to a network.

That said, I have been using Visio my last few personal displays, don’t use the built in apps, and run everything through my playstation. Haven’t had any issues.

My job falls under IS, and in our monthly townhall we had a brief from the head of technology on our companies AI policy.

Our policy states we can only use approved AI systems, not sure which one but we have an account with one of the big ones. The main thing was, absolutely 100% of everything generated has to be reviewed and approved by a person before being used.

Basically any person using it will be on the hook as if they had created it themselves. They encouraged us to use it and explore where it can help, but made sure we knew we’d be responsible for the results.

Personally, I’d love to play around with it, as I do both graphics and programming as part of my job. The only issue I have is the language is so niche I doubt it’ll have enough data to generate anything, and I don’t want to feed proprietary code into an unsecured database to train it.

I’m sure in the next two years I’ll be using it for something.

If you have a spare machine gathering dust, I highly recommend installing one of the modern desktop versions and giving it a try. It is still not a replacement for the every day office machine in most environments, but for personal daily computer use it can be fantastic.
