If you would ban a specific kind of gun you should introduce a good way for people to get rid of the guns. Australia did this by using a gun buyback program.
Europe doesn’t even have a lot of stabbings either, you see that more in other continents outside Europe/NA. In Europe people just use a car to drive into society …
Sorry what? No most other countries do not have gun death rates close to the US. The US also spans the crown. And that is not even saying anything about the amount of massacres in US schools compared to the rest of the world.
I am against guns, but I don’t believe the police brutality has to do with guns
The current laws surrounding guns in the US is probably going to make the inventable next civil war a lot worse in terms of deaths.
That’s why laws like the GDPR exist to prevent this bullshit.
The recommended rate for RAM to TB of storage is one, so for every 1TB of data they recommend you need to have 1GB of ram. Not sure how relevant it actually is since I have a lot more ram than storage on the server, but just something to note.
Virtualising ZFS on top of ZFS is generally not supported and can cause issues. I run TrueNas baremetal and run a lot of docker services in TrueNas itself, you can also run VM’s on TrueNas. I know some people virtualise TrueNas in Proxmox, but the only use I see is to host something in a VM on proxmos that you cannot really run inside a TrueNas VM. The thing with TrueNas is that everything is either stored in the datasets or in the config file. The latter can be backupped pretty easily.
I have both a TrueNas server and a Proxmox box with OPnsense running, Proxmox is very nice I just don’t see a reason to run TrueNas inside Proxmox.
Pretty sure they are fiscally located in Ireland like a lot of big companies for tax reason and for EU VAT reasons.
There are loads of people who think a company is bad because of one product, one service etc. A friend of mine hates Seagate, but he bought 10 drives of the same model. Pretty sure he even bought some after the first one failed … or people (like me) put desktop drives in a NAS or service with other drives. While mine are still good I expect them to fail any time since well they are not desinged for the use case I am using them for.
I hate it so much that Whatsapp made itself a social media
Yes I am aware, I see some of the most advanced spreadsheets considering I work as accountant, but a lot of the sheets people make can be replaced with better stuff or are just very basis entries which Libreoffice can do fine.
Missing the formatted as tables is probably it’s biggest issue
A small part of Germany, but maybe
My Brother printer worked way better on W11 then W10, but I disliked W10 more than I dislike W11 at least at the start
A chipped bank card aka what the rest of us use with modern standards like 2FA etc
LibreOffice is a great alternative for 99% of people, but there is that 1% of people who is gonna be disappointment. This is a great step though.
They extra costs of creditcards is why I use a modern bankcard, but the US is really behind on that so for some things I need to use my CC
There is a difference between abusing people to generate money and spending money to hurt people
They are German as far as I am aware, but that doesnt mean they do the same crap in Europe as they do in the US hence my question
You realise I don’t live in the corrupt nation named the US?
