The video’s message is that Rust is positioned to be the universal programming language of the future - one that developers can learn once and use across all domains throughout their entire careers, similar to how C served that role for previous generations of programmers.

I agree and resonate with this so much! I think everyone should have everything (or almost everything) in their vault as markdown files.

Sadly, you are spittin’ facts! I just wish people were more into understanding stuff they are using. Like… I know people don’t choose what interests them, but imagine how cool it would be if everyone looked into Linux and shit and at least knew it existed and that they can put it on their old computers.
Why would you send 240 million PCs to the landfill when you can install Linux on all of them?

That’s why I prefer Cardano, it has a good PoS (unlike Ethereum) and uses thousands of time less energy than Bitcoin.
Why is it dumb? It’s short, easy to say and cool.
Why not Brave? I mean… Firefox is fine, just, some of the extensions I need for example are not available on it.
What’s the alternative? CBDCs? Ye, no thx.
And that’s why no one should do crypto stuff on the same OS where they code.

The more I learn about the documentary, the more Vladislav Surkov vibes I get from it. If you’re interested in what that means, Adam Curtis has a good explanation YT, and the entire documentary Hypernormalization is a great watch.

If you watched the video you would know what he means by the title. And no - the meaning of the title is not that Rust is a LITERAL C replacement. Watch the video next time, please.
