I suppose that can be geographically dependent. I just so happen to live near a grocer that has a good thing going with local farmers. The meat is from Save A Lot. They typically have great value in meat in my area. Particularly pork and chicken, but often beef too. Save A Lot cuts their own meat and they’re not the best at it, but that savings they do pass on.

A lot is Aldi and some is Save A Lot. I find Aldi meat to be kinda crap, but our local SAL has decent local meat for a good value along with some produce.

Yeah, this is as cheap as I’ve seen in a long time and is only a weekly special. I do see them regularly at Aldi in the 50 cent range though. Still a steal of a deal and I’ll be back later in the week.

I’m lazy and just microwave them for a few minutes in milk. Quick, easy, cheap, healthy, and filling. Oats are underrated. And it doesn’t take much to make them taste awesome.

Luke 10:25-35, “The Parable of the Good Samaritan” is completely unambiguous and proves them in error. I’m in the same boat as you. Former Christian that refuses to be associated with the ghouls of today’s Christianity.

For context. The injured man was Jewish and Samaritans were hated by the Jews.
