12·7 days agoWell, you are trying embarrassingly hard to silence me at least. That is fine. I was definitely positing an unlikely but possible case, I do suffer from extreme anxiety and what sets it off has nothing to do with logic, but you are also overstating the ethics violation by suggesting that any harm they could cause is real or significant in a way that wouldn’t happen with regular interaction on random forums.
In that case, any interaction would be unethical. How do you know that I don’t have an intense fear of the words “justify the means”? You could have just doomed me to a downward spiral ending in my demise. As if I didn’t have enough trouble. You not only made me see it, you tricked me into typing it.
Well, I carry a keyboard with my 17" laptop. Carrying a keyboard with a 8" laptop is that much easier.
Not when disclosure ruins the experiment. Nobody was harmed or even could be harmed unless they are dead stupid, in which case the harm is already inevitable. This was posting on social media, not injecting people with random pathogens. Have a little perspective.

The answer is never censorship. Look at who would be in charge of your ‘regulated’ social media now… It would be all of it instead of just the now hyper-regulated X.
This is sort of like the advice i was given when traveling. Don’t give money to begging children. They have handlers in the background who get the money and giving it incentivizes them to force more children into begging.
Has everyone forgotten about Guantanamo? There are probably people there still who just got caught up in “911” sweeps for all we know. Even if they say they’ve moved or transferred all of them.
