“How to win friends and influence people” is a great book. I can also recommend How to Talk to Anyone: “92 Little Tricks for Big Success in Relationships” by Leil Lowndes

Reading books about how to behave in social settings was very effective in reducing my social anxiety

1·7 days agoI had problems with eye contact for a long time, but for some reason it stopped being a problem arround the age of 15-16 and when I read in a social skills book’s (yes I need manuals for social interactions) that eye contact is important, I started to force my self into eye contact.
Maybe this has also something to do with people telling me that they find my eyes beautiful, but I don’t know
I am probably one of the people that need to be forced to socialize because I don’t do it by my self enough
I think schools should give more control to the students about what and how they want to learn, I always hated it that they forced me to learn things I am not interested in and will probably never use in my life
