At least they looked it up and admitted that the tik tok woman was right. That’s way more than what most people do.

The hospital should do a mandatory paternity test before any paperwork is signed, just to eliminate any doubts of responsibility and possible infidelity.
Guess that would put Maury out of a job though.

That would serve the same purpose as the UPS. But it’s definitely a more expensive solution.
RGB3x3@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•What would you like to see in a house IT setup?English5·1 year agoMy first home had a dropped ceiling in the basement. It was so ugly, dropped whatever the hell that material is all over the floor when you moved it, and it was an old house so it started to discolor.
I’d rather crawl space that allows for running cable once every 10 years than have to deal with a dropped ceiling.
RGB3x3@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•What would you like to see in a house IT setup?English1·1 year agoI totally agree with the first part. I’ll be building a home in a few years and I’m going to be running Ethernet cable to the home theater system, to the home office, to the doorbell, to the primary bedroom, probably to places where I need to put WAPs, and to places I may not need but could get use out of in the future.
I’m tired of having a WiFi router on one side of the house with crap coverage elsewhere and no way to wire my PC and game console without PITA cable running effort.
I’ll probably have a network closet built in somewhere or stick a router or switch in the utility closet so that I can put WAPs anywhere in the house.

What Google has over every other search engine is local results. There’s just no getting around how much useful data Google has on every business in the world.

Now to be completely honest, with all her insane wealth, the amount she gives is proportionally very very little. But at least she does something, I guess?
Not that I’m defending the multi-billionaire.
RGB3x3@lemmy.worldto Global News@lemmy.zip•Taylor Swift among 141 new billionaires in ‘amazing year for rich people’English42·1 year agoHer shows are actually an insane amount of work, and it’s obvious when you watch them. My wife is a huge fan, myself not so much, but I can at least admit that her talent is undeniable.
She does 3-hour shows Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, then does it again the next week, and she’s been doing that for over a year. It’s honestly nuts.
And even between all those shows, she’s releasing a new album. If anyone actually works for her wealth, it’s Swift.

Just fucking open the fridge and check! Refrigerators and microwaves and shit don’t need AI or connected anything.
