    I blame some of the toxicity in the fact that a big chunk of lemmy users came here because they were banned from Reddit precisely for being hostile.

    Totally this. Lemmy is a pretty toxic place because of it. I even have Lemmy stalkers because many Lemmys are the type that just can’t let something go. And I’ll get downvoted for saying it. 🤣 🤣
