23 days agoNo. This is the hardware to connect to the devices. You still need something, like ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT to manage it in Home Assistant.

18·3 months agoAs a senior dev, I say it’s not worth it. Our junior devs rely on it too much and I spent most of yesterday trying to figure out for my junior dev why their code didn’t work. Eventually came to the conclusion that they just have to redo most of it because it’s utter garbage and invents new code to do what the architecture already has.
I can’t imagine this happening in the Netherlands… Wtf…

Seconding Pocket ID. Very lightweight and fast while also doing everything I need.
I didn’t mind having a couple of static ads on a page. But now it’s so much. So many dynamic ads, autoplaying videos, popups asking you to sign up to a newsletter, etc. No thanks.
I’ve used Authelia and Authentic. I personally switched to pocket I’d recently. You can integrate lap and groups easily and I’m amazed at how freaking fast it is. Might be a nice experiment next :)

A page that handled call requests. It was a table showing some information about the person, the case it’s related to and some other fields. It fetched everything from any table it touched. So the call was fetching all the information about the person. The case it was related to. The person who was assigned to the case, and since the case was linked a couple of layers in, all of that data as well.
I created a simple view that only fetched the data it needed. It went from over A GIGABYTE of data to less than 25mb of data of transfer to the web ui.
