Hexbear is particularly vexing to me. According to the fediverse observer they’re less than a month old and yet have already become one of the most active instances.

3·2 years agoI bet we fall just outside the top 10. Seems pretty busy here to me, plus our LOTR memes make top upvoted pretty frequently. Honestly I’m wondering if the user distribution might be pretty dang good below the top 5 servers or so; 234k could be a serious underestimation of the actual active userbase if the next 20 servers all have 1k+
Yeah but sometimes you just came inside and want to browse 😉 definitely understand where he’s coming from but it’d be nice to not have to switch to another account all the time
Ah yes, the classic wealthy journalist. Everyone knows that reporting is where the big bucks truly lie. I guess it’s impossible for literally anyone living anywhere but the like 3 countries that pretend to be communist to report on anything accurately.
