It might not be the answer your asking/looking for.
But I have an LG TV (with LG soundbar), but I have it on a seperated Vlan, so it can’t connect to the internet. But it still allows me to read the on/off state and send Wake On LAN packages. And this is good enough for me
Streaming with Music Assistant to the sound bar also still works

Yhea me too, or some double launch stuff. But it just works instantly

I literally can’t notice (I did wire everything)

000000 (if they still not change them at least)

The only reason I have Unifi around. They support local-only. But totally worth if to have your faith in your own hands. I would never have gone with a cloud solution like Ring

I bough a second hand laptop with windows 11 and it had Copilot pushing down my throat.
It’s now running Fedora just fine. And if I want I can spin up a local AI when I decide that I need it.
For our glas cook top (hob) I just use some plain window cleaner
There is a windows registry hack to set the shutdown wait time for 1s and that did fix it for me. But every update they turn it back to unlimited.
(I ended up installing Linux, I only have the dnf5daemon server holding the shutdown up for atnost 5min now. But I haven’t tried to fix it)

Did you try the … ._ yet?
For refference, the HAV unit didn’t get a ping after nabu detection. The system froze with one cpu pinned to 100% usage. Screen and observer show that everything is fine. But the dashboard and such is unreachable.
I have now settup assistant completly again, and I think the only difference is “streaming wake word engine = enabled” and I manually force set the assistant in the (esphome) device to the assistant instead of “default”. This seems to work again for now…
I recommend Nuki (local support, EU based)

We run a different Vlan (and wifi/ssid) for the IOT devices) around 70 or so). What I did is just make an exception rule in the router so HA can acces all Vlan

Site note: GPT does also not give reliable information. (altough I do agree Grok is worse.)

I want a script that randomly turns a switch off in the house. Do you have any of those?

We always say “the grass is always greener on the other side”.
Communism things the same about capitalism.

I checked the first 4 numbers, seems fine to me. Push to production
There 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who count in binary, and those who dont
Just to put the dot back at the horizon, you can have a “normal” job. If you can find something you like and can (hyper) focus on it’s details you can excel at it.
I’ve been going into electronics, and I make the same as my partner does. The hardest part of my job for me is the social aspect, but the machines at least don’t need to be talked to. Being a man of rules and details comes in verry handy for programming and such too.
Another thing to note is that the generally noted “smartest” people in history most likely had a form of autism. It can of course not be proven, but they where hyper focused in the area they are known for. But dint know or where bad at other ‘simpler’ areas.
To come back to your question of making money at home, I would personally go into 3D printing or so. It’s rewarding, lots to learn, and there is still room to make a buck
Make sure to check about SSI rules before doing anything btw
