My brother in law took me for a spin in his AWD top spec Nissan Ariya. It has a listed 0-60 time of 5 seconds in that configuration. My base model F-150 gets up to 60 in a little over 6 seconds, and his Ariya definitely tested the seat bolstering when he floored it around a slight bend.

The model Y does 3.5. That’s like super car specs of yesteryear. For reference, a 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 lists at 3.5. The venerable Ferrari F-50 of 1997 lists at 3.5. A 2005 Ford GT lists 3.5.

So yeah, pretty nuts, and significantly faster acceleration than most people experience in their lifetime. I’ve been looking for a cheap, athletic car for weekend thrills and occasional track days, and 5 seconds is right around the spec I’m looking for, maybe a used Cayman S, plenty of speed to make me feel like I’m breaking the law without being too tail happy. 3.5 is probably a tad more juice than anyone should play with unseasoned.

Discrete AMD GPUs in laptops are a very niche market, and there aren’t too many to be found. The RX6550m listed here is not the bottom of AMD’s barrel, but it’s no powerhouse. I’m sure it would run anything that isn’t too demanding, TF2 included.

As a doomer, I make it a point to not bother the hopeful with my doom. Why argue? Why bring people down. Yeah, okay, I see something that they don’t, but forcibly informing them of it doesn’t do jack shit for them or me.

I still try to recycle and live fairly low impact. My greatest achievement on that end is not reproducing. We can fully believe mankind is completely and utterly fucked and still choose to be decent human beings.

I didn’t bother reading the other comments before giving my glowing recommendation of EndeavourOS, I’m always happy to see other people having as good of an experience as I’ve had.

EndeavourOS on the other hand, I set up BTRFS with grub bootable timeshift snapshots and have never gotten to use them once. In my experience at least, EndeavourOS is blatantly superior to Manjaro. Give it a whirl if you haven’t yet.
