This would only make resumes fill up with AI gibberish.
HR would now learn to avoid large blocks of text.
Lemmy lives to rip reddit to pieces and share any bad news about them.
I didn’t leave an ex to keep being reminded a out her. Just move on and share anything new.
That’s not the case. Usually governments and public organisations go throw a volume licensing agreements that sees them taking more than just windows. It would usually include things like windows, office, a bunch of enterprise applications, as well as support on top of it all.
Microsoft usually relies on those agreements to push software that might not be needed.
Another reason could be the video display management system they used to remotely control these screens. The software might only run on windows.
Why not promote matrix as a substitute?
Just because they have been caught logging that info. Imagine what else is logged and is still unknown.
Honestly, using a dodgy app and running on a bad OS to begin with isn’t great. Your post is great and thanks for sharing, you just shared something not great though.
I have used an iPhone in the past and I believe anyone can get out of their walled gardens if they want to. They just need to research and work on it though.
A lot of average users won’t do that though. You can export everything if you work on it. The only issue which is iMessage, but that’s purely a US issue really. Hardly a problem in Europe where WhatsApp dominates it here.
I don’t usually use social media apps at all. But lemmy to me reminds of old school forums. A few people interested in a subject keep that section of the forum alive.
At what point do you use tab auto refresh?
I am genuinely curious.
That’s great news. Not that I like Apple anyway with such douchy move.
I actually though they would federate with something like mastodon.
Kinda useless really.
What I don’t understand is that they had the option of providing a free service to all third party apps provided there was no commercial use.
They could have easily asked for a cut from any AI company using their data for training.
Welcome to lemmy.
Yeah. There was this guy who deleted his account but Reddit restored it. Apparently he was going to take them to court based on some GDPR article.
I honestly think that has been happening with all these publications websites.
Deleting doesn’t actually delete it all. I remember a Reddit user once filed a GDPR for restoring his information after he deleted them.
In all honesty, when I joined Reddit right after digg went to shit. It was amazing. Reddit was great, 3rd party apps were welcome, their interface was straightforward, and they had none of those NFT gold shit.
It just went downhill.
Those NFT things were just a bad move.
You signed it all away the moment you scrolled down that EULA 😂
