Because you love the pain that comes with pulling your own hair out, one fistful at a time.
Yeah, this is why our AI image generators create kooky images sometimes. /s?
That Mason Jar light looks like a good project to dip your toes into. You can always tinker and improve/modify, for example by adding the microcontroller into the mix. In the initial stages you can use jumper wires and breadboards which are great for learning. When you know you have it right, you can go for soldering the circuit. Trying to solder everything in the beginning can be a little frustrating if you want to change things and experiment. That’s not to say you can’t do it that way though. If you think you’ll have more fun learning to solder, then go for it.
I’ll respond since no one has commented yet. Maybe it’ll trigger more responses. I’ve seen these lamps and they are super cool to look at.
I’m not sure where one could find these optic fiber strands but if it is the lights on your previously working lamps that have failed, you can look at replacing the existing circuit with a microcontroller based one. Look for nodemcu (ESP8266) or ESP32 ones. They are super cheap and super easy to program (connect to computer over USB) and can run RGB LEDs to create colors of your choice. You can also find GitHub repositories for code you can directly use to let you control the light and color over WiFi.
The biggest challenge i faced was getting the pH and nutrient right. The pre measured hydroponics nutrients were only available online to me at a big premium over big bags of similar sounding stuff like NPK, micronutrientes at local stores that sell them for farmers. I read up as best I could, found calculators, weighed and measured doses but I failed and my dear tomato saplings wilted in hours before my eyes.
I half assed in trying to build a hydroponic system a few years ago. Looking at this video, i realise how much effort it takes. But it must be so rewarding.
Looks cool! Your first link is asking for login.
Thanks for this, but as far as I could understand this teaches how to torrent the files independently. I’m struggling with the part: how to get my book listed on Anna’s Archive
And once scanned, how can I upload it to sites like Anna’s Archive so that it’ll live on forever?
Wow! A lot of sane advice coming from an account claiming to be a shitposting account :D.
Your points are well taken and I’m slowly coming to the same realisation. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
If you look at the image linked below you can see some arms in the closed position with a hole in the middle where the rocket can stand. They are just used as a platform to join various stages of the rockets.

Prior to launch, these arms are just opened up as seen in the original post.
Yes OP look up a recipe for raita and go for it. Maximum flavour from minimum ingredients. The spice i love in my raita is roasted and crushed cumin.
While I have a background in science, this is not the specialization i chose and so almost all of it is almost Spanish (won’t say Greek, since at least I’ve heard of the words) to me.
I thank you for summarising the science of it though. It gives me enough keywords to start learning.
I’ll definitely take your advice regarding getting a quote from the geothermal system guys, if there are any around me.
I’ll also try and learn the science/maths to see if you, or the other guy who has suggested that this might not be worth the effort, are right.
In one of the iterations of my idea, I thought of using solar energy to compress air and keep it stored in an underground tank. But it felt more hazardous and prone to failing. I’ll explore the link in the other reply to your comment and reconsider it. Thanks.
Thanks for mentioning the terms that I should look for. I never had the opportunity to study these and having these as pointers helps a lot.
Thank you for your reply. It has given me the factors to consider and the terms to look for. I’m going to cross verify the values you have quoted and if it is indeed as bleak, I’ll just temper my expectations.
But I’m not giving up on it totally yet. What I’m still not sure is how geothermal cooling can provide more heat exchange as compared to the system I’m proposing. At most geothermal systems also only have a few tens on meters of piping underground.
I have been considering newer construction materials and the trouble is that most of the material available online is either research papers or companies selling it: both of which only talk good things about it.
I liked one such tech and intend to seek and meet people who are living in houses made using it. That should definitely assuage my doubts.
Someone just create an easy to follow DIY front light using diffused LED strip for my old kindle and I’m good for another decade. My Kindle even has power out pins on the back to make it easy.
