

Last year’s collard greens survived the winter and have continued thriving, so getting to start the season with a harvest is nice. Other than that, carrot seedlings are getting started, two grape saplings are rooting nicely, though they won’t likely bloom for a few years, and some herbs are beginning in the seeding stage for now.
Gas prices jumped 30 cents per gallon out of no where, work has been exceptionally boring but at least I’m still working though since I know some of the funding for it comes from the federal government my continued employment is very much up in the air. I’m not a ‘core’ part of the company, just an offshoot that’s meant to tackle larger projects than the usual… but they can easily coast with the core section until funding does come through.
