I’m assuming just a few minutes ‘prediction’ as the slip and slide of the crust starts breaking through the tension.
Edit: Just realised this was posted in WorldNews. Asklemmy would have been more appropriate.

This title is really infuriating (from the Guardian, not the poster). Deforestation is causing the breakdown. Deforestation is not transformation of forests, it’s just destruction.

I can see my phone in bright sunlight, not sure why it would need to be any brighter except to be brighter than every other phone. On another note, imagine picking up your phone after sleeping and it’s accidentally on manual max brightness. Ha!

Sprinkler mode, I love it.
PowerPoints suffer from lack of smart objects, and in the case of using Linux, font conversion. But it’s just that we’ve got to persevere with it. 😅

As always, first impressions count. There is no way I’m starting to call it engine x now, except for fun.
If free speech requires everyone who makes a statement or belief to engage in debate about it, I don’t believe it would work very well.

I love lawful neutral. That made me chuckle.
Some data and research seems to be pointing to potential prediction within the hour or two: https://www.science.org/content/article/warning-signs-detected-hours-ahead-big-earthquakes
