I hate how this is an actual real possibility in this timeline.

Maybe politically they will somehow fix some of their relations with the rest of tde world if they elect a sane president (maybe). However, the fact remains: they elected a clown twice and there’s a huge portion of them willing to elect him again. The damage is done and even if they repair their relations, it won’t be the same.

Socially on the other hand? Yeah, they are done for. People are done with usian culture and their influence is fading rapidly. People don’t want usian products, and the want to be further from them, not closer. The US have lost their status as the “beacon of the western world”.

Remember: they died to protect a child rapist.

It wasn’t a war but a quick special operation, lasting a few days top, since they were destroying everything by air.

Then they started saying that maybe a few special forces would put boots on the ground but it was going to be fast.

Now, the oil is raising but it will be a matter of “weeks, not months” before it turns back normal.

I kinda like how the optimism is slowly fading. Let’s see how long before they start talking of “months, not years”.

I… have been there. Now I have learned to spilt plans (or days) into parts separated by well established checkpoints. If something goes wrong, I just need to survive to the next checkpoint where the plan “restarts” and it makes things way more bearable.

I just read that the Dubai’s International Airport has been hit by an Iranian drone. He might be there for a while. I just hope he doesn’t get killed. As much as I hate the asshole and wish he uncute stuff, I don’t really want him to be killed by an iranian drone, dragging Italy to a war that it doesn’t need.

I haven’t said they are not mandatory in Europe. I have said that I am European and haven’t seen them in the countries I lived in.

Tell me, are Spain and Italy countries that for some reason disqualify you from being European or did you just have a rough morning?

I’m genuinely curious: why do you need smoke detectors? I’m asking as an european that has lived without them all their life in more than one country. They are not mandatory here and not even common. What’s the reason to install ther? (I know the reason is to detect smoke, I’m asking the underlying reason behind the need to detect smoke)
