Bike lanes improve traffic, increase safety, and banning them has been ruled as unconstitional.

So of COURSE the conservative fuck wants to make life worse for everyone except him.

Ford, Smith, Poilievre, Moe, and the rest of these scum deserve to face a firing squad.

He will not take the subway ot GO train to work. Gotta get those luxury tankmobiles from Etobicoke and Brampton to Queen’s Park without delay, every day!

Doesn’t matter if he won’t. If this was about his commute he would push for more transit and bike lanes as thats less people on the road to slow him down. Its about his ego and appealing to other idiots who can’t fathom getting around without their Cadillac escalade. Its about not “wasting” tax dollars on cyclists that “don’t pay for the roads”.

How many times can doug take this ridiculous fight to court? As a nation we have much bigger problems to solve than restricting people’s freedom of movement all because this oaf is too out of shape to understand a bike lane.

I have an EV and burn zero fossil fuels. I also think putting bike lanes on a major artery that wasn’t designed for them is a terrible idea. I’m all for bike lanes on side streets, but not on arteries, sorry.

The major artery in question wasn’t originally designed for cars, either. The Internet wasn’t designed for commercial and residential users. This is argumentation by head-in-the-sand. We can redesign the street.

It is impossible to get around most of Toronto without bike lanes on arterials. The whole “no bike lanes on arterials” is a myth that Ford has been repeating constantly. Bike lanes do not cause traffic.

PhDs have literally run machine learning analysis on Toronto’s streets and found Bloor bike lanes to be necessary in every scenario. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2024/10/241015183513.htm

The cyclists claimed that the g’ment knows this won’t accomplish what they claim (traffic reduction) and also knows that people will be hurt. I hope someone applies these arguments to safe injection sites.
