I kept opening my analytics dashboard throughout the day just to check whether anyone had signed up or visited my site.
Eventually I thought: why am I checking the dashboard?
If something important happens, just tell me.
So I built a Discord integration for DataQuest.
You can choose what you actually want notifications for like new signups, visitor activity, or an end-of-day report.
The idea is pretty simple:
Analytics dashboard: “Come check me.”
Discord: “Something happened. 👀”
You still get the full analytics dashboard with live visitors, page views, countries, visitor journeys and signups.
But you don’t have to keep refreshing it.
I’m curious ,what website events would you actually want sent to Discord?
