Well you saw that in the immediate aftermath, she was still proud of her win, and she saw it as a moment of perseverance. It’s a terrible thing to shit oneself in public, but with her athlete brain, in the immediate aftermath, in the hospital, with all those endorphins and dopamine flooding her system, she saw it as a badge of honor. People are over here defending the actions of Lindsey Clancy whilst being in an altered mental state, I think we can give the same to an athlete that wanted to win at any personal cost.

But yeah, judges should’ve stepped in. If it was an outdoor marathon, and the worst thing that resulted from it was another runner potentially stepping in it… That’s one thing. But she got shit on the hands, butt, arms, of other competitors. That’s foul. Judges, who were not in an altered mental state, should’ve stopped her. They’re who we should really be looking at.
