So here’s an alternative for people who don’t like Youtube

Am I the only one thinking that glorifying gangsters and guns can’t be good for society ?

Not only video games and certainly not video games for everything. I played my fair share of SHMUP and other kind of violent games. But this one really looks like a movie, I can really imagine kids identifying to the protagonists and reproducing that IRL. I wouldn’t want to forbid it but still it disturbs me. I’m wondering.

Cinematography is here for a century already. What amount of crimes is done because “Cool! I want to be like that guy with a gun”? I suppose a dozen in total during that whole century.

If you want to go there : All US action movies have a gun displayed on their poster. The US is number one in gun homicide from a very, very wide margin. You can always say it’s not linked. Other countries think it is.

Not the poster by themselves, but that means that for any US action movies, the hero is identified as a person with a gun. The gun is kinda the symbol of its power.

One such movie from time to time is perfectly OK. When all of them glorify guns, you have a cultural problem.
