150Nm… 0_0 I see motors like this and the Avinox and start daydreaming about seriously gutsy cargo bikes. I don’t care about top speed; I want to get off the line and stabilized when my bike is loaded to the gills and pulling a trailer.

Why do this when the biggest threat to e-bikes is people riding overpowered bikes too fast, and ruining things for everyone?

I used to transport two tween kids by cargo bike. Even going up a 13% hill regularly, and even occasionally a 20% hill, my wife and I didn’t have problems with a mere 500 W, 85 Nm motor. Who is 1700 W for??
