    But the most important thing to know, is that every cycling article is just advertising. Here’s some actual expert tips.

    1. “Flat bar” and “upright riding position” don’t belong in the same sentence. One needs a trekking or cruiser bar with some rise, like 120mm or better.
    2. Hybrids are basically heavy gravel bikes without drop bars. Just because one can fit 2.4" tires on a 20mm rim, doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
    3. If one really wants to jam off-road, full-suspension. Full stop.

    There’s so much more and finding out is half the fun. This article sucks though.
