But the most important thing to know, is that every cycling article is just advertising. Here’s some actual expert tips.
- “Flat bar” and “upright riding position” don’t belong in the same sentence. One needs a trekking or cruiser bar with some rise, like 120mm or better.
- Hybrids are basically heavy gravel bikes without drop bars. Just because one can fit 2.4" tires on a 20mm rim, doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
- If one really wants to jam off-road, full-suspension. Full stop.
