For over 10 years I’ve intermittently sent videos at 4:20pm to friends as a morale booster for the workday being nearly done. Now I will post them to this community as well.

This is not a daily ritual, just a when-I-can ritual. The last thing I’d want to do is make this fun tradition a job.

An ideal 420 video is a clip of media produced before 2010 and is under 2 minutes long, but there have been some exceptions.

The video is either intentionally or unintentionally funny by seeing it out of context.

(ironically I am sober and do not smoke weed. I just like saying BLAZE IT and 420 if I happen to look at a clock and it’s 420)

FAQ:

Q: Why do I get a 404?

A: At least one user in an instance needs to search for a community before it gets fetched. Searching for the community will bring it into the instance and it will fetch a few of the most recent posts without comments. If a user is subscribed to a community, then all of the future posts and interactions are now in-sync.

Q: When I try to create a post, the circle just spins forever. Why is that?

A: This is a current known issue with large communities. Sometimes it does get posted, but just continues spinning, but sometimes it doesn’t get posted and continues spinning. If it doesn’t actually get posted, the best thing to do is try later. However, only some people seem to be having this problem at the moment.
