When women riders and drivers told us they wanted more control over how they ride and earn, we listened. That feedback led to Women Preferences, features designed to give women the choice to ride with other women. Since our first pilots last summer, we’ve heard just how much that choice matters—from feeling more comfortable in the back seat to more confident behind the wheel.

As much as you want to try to paint men as the victims, they’re just not.

Yes, it happens. No it does not happen nearly as frequently.

This issue is extremely skewed toward women.

It’s not that complicated roflcopter. I don’t know how to break it down any further.

Why would you think anyone wants to be a victim?

Because you’re bending over backwards to try to show men as the victims of rampant sexual harassment when it overwhelmingly occurs to women.

Men are not being victimized here, women are just getting relief

              men are being victimized.

              'he raped me! ’

those words to a cop can essentially suspend a man’s life for an indeterminate amount of time. does it happen where men rape women? yeah, and it’s fucked… do some women use it as a weapon to get back at someone/ruin someone’s life? you bet your ass they do…

why can’t it be fair? why should a guy be forced to potentially endure that scenario when they hailed a cab…when the system is in place to protect 1 gender by giving choice. it’s not limiting her use of it or making it worse for her, it’s making it better for ALL that use the service.

stop thinking because one issue if objectively worse then the other, that the other should be dismissed. that’s horrible logic, heck it’s not even logic. it’s just stupid.

Do you have any evidence at all that this happens even semi-regularly?

why can’t it be fair? why should a guy be forced to potentially endure that scenario when they hailed a cab

Because it doesn’t happen anywhere near as regularly as you’re trying to make it sound.

once is more then enough… it doesn’t need to happen regularly.

what’s your magic number threshold where an issue starts to matter…? clearly that’s what you’re getting at so I wanna know this magic number

equality is and should be everyone’s goals. if not, then might as well call free for all and never have special rules for anyone based on anything. society is about inclusion and equality, yet you only seem to want equality is specific scenarios. makes no sense… why half implement a rule when fully implementing it won’t have any effect on the first half? why not accessable to all…you’re just arguing for the sake of it.

I didn’t even so much as suggest that they were victims of any sexual assault at all, much less “rampant” . You just made all of that up.

nobody is painting men as the victims anymore then they are painting women as victims.

women get raped more often, I wouldn’t deny that.

men get accused of raping when nothing happened and get dragged through hell more often then women do.

what’s wrong with equality? seriously… what’s wrong with it? no one asked for women to not have the service/choice, only to extend it for everyone. lol you’re mentally stuck on one issue and just refuse to see it as a whole picture. it’s kinda sad really.
