It’s temporary, but it’d be interesting to see them try to do this permanently! Not sure how viable that would be, though.
Very viable. The only downside to this otherwise amazing project is some disruption to an important bus route. I’d be happy if Granville was bus-only, but I’m also happy with it being fully pedestrianized.
Always enjoyed going to Akihabara on a Sunday when it’s car free day. It doesn’t need to be a big outdoor festival, just being able to walk around was enough.
